About Elka Games

The Meaning of the Name

Elka Games is named after my children, and meant to serve as a place where people can come together to celebrate games, stories, creativity, and the legacies we all create through our daily lives.

As my kids began to grow, I realized that, although I taught them to unapologetically be themselves, and to throw themselves fully into the things they love and enjoy, I had neglected to do the same for myself. I had a strong desire to create, and had harbored a deep love for tabletop gaming for as long as I can remember. It was in 2025 when I realized I could marry those two things together, and build something that would, ideally, long outlive me, while serving as an example to my children of the life lessons I taught them.

No matter who you are, or where you come from, I’m glad you’re here to be a part of this journey. Welcome to the table.
